The exclusive line ‘Street Art’ features the artist's world-renowned work, which grew up on the streets of northern São Paulo
Considered by many to be the world capital of graffiti, São Paulo brings together several elements that portray very well how urban life has a strong relationship with art. Whether on the walls, walls, buildings and viaducts, it is practically impossible not to come across any artistic manifestation in the city.
With that in mind, Chilli Beans has invested in the urban movement and has just launched its first collection in 2019, entitled “Street Art”, in partnership with graffiti artist Cranio.
Created in the north of Sao Paulo, Cranio is one of the revelations in the international art scene and has done works in major capitals of the world, such as New York, Berlin and even Sao Paulo. The famous blue Indians, trademark of the artist, represent a character with the face of Brazil.
The launch of the exclusive collection took place in São Paulo on the 9th, together with the inauguration of Chilli Beans' newest flagship, located at Oscar Freire Street, in São Paulo.
Caito Maia, owner of Chilli Beans, granted an exclusive interview to Ratchet Free and talked about the selection criteria of the collection. “We like very much to value national and Brazilian art, people we admire, people we have a true relationship with. The Skull is definitely our great revelation, by the way, it's a monster that makes its mark all over the world. His color chart and the Indian (Indian) all that look, goes a lot with the glasses, ”said Caito.
